Tom's gaming blog #2 Last blog, I was very focused on what is happening. This time it will be overall. But the first story will also be about the present.  During lockdown, sport was banned throughout the world, but slowly, it is returning to normal. I am not going to talk about it returni ng, but what they did instead of sports. Professions like footballers and hockey players found themselves playing virtual matches against each other. They played on sport simulators (Fifa, NHL). Motorsport racers took th e situation very similarly. They had virtual races with points being give n out after each race, but th e biggest difference is, that they had actual sponsors, which appeared in the game.   E-Sports, is a very underrated position. relating to the previous story, virtual racers were better drivers than the actual IRL drivers. Tom's Gaming blog #1 If you keep up with world news, you must've heard the term gaming. Gaming is a hobby, which basically is just people who play and  are interested in computer games.   There are many opinions on gaming. The most popular one is, that some games are too much brutal for children. But my argument is, that instead of complaining about games being brutal, the parents shouldn't buy their kids games whose PEGI (Pan European Game Information), doesn't correspond with their children. PEGI includes advised minimal age of the player, inappropriate themes and different phobias, that might be in the game. But back to opinions of gaming, one of the positive opinions, with which I agree, is that games actually help  children learn things, maybe not shooting games, but simulators etc., but for example I learned a big part of my English from games.
